Dr. Ufuk Bilkay was born in Izmir in 1966. After completing his secondary education at the Izmir Ataturk School, he began studying at the medical faculty of Ege University in 1984. He completed his medical education in 1990 and received the title of a doctor. After working for one year as a resident doctor at the Dokuz-Eylül University, medical faculty, department of urology, he left it and specialized in the medical faculty of the University of Ege, department for plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
In 1998 he worked as a "Research Fellow" at Emory University in Atlanta, USA; He studied endoscopic plastic surgery, microsurgery and reconstructive breast surgery (breast reconstruction after cancer). After the two research projects that he had prepared and presented were completed, he was presented at various conventions in the United States and his results were published as two articles in the American Journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. During this time, he worked at major plastic surgery centers such as the Emory Clinic and the Paces Plastic Surgery Center with famous surgeons such as John Bostwick III, Dr. Foad Nahai, Dr. Clinton Mc Cord, Dr. Road Hester and Dr. Glyn Jones together. He developed his knowledge and skills in the areas of facial and eye aesthetics, nose aesthetics, breast aesthetics, body shaping, liposuction and maxillofacial surgery.
